// Atlas for creators & educators

Build on land
you own.

Your teaching, your students and your income deserve a home that belongs to you. Atlas builds course platforms, memberships and websites on your own domain, your own hosting and your own Stripe account, shaped around how you teach and changeable whenever you want.

// Rented vs owned

Who holds the keys?

Kajabi, GoHighLevel and the platforms like them are somebody else's building, with somebody else's rules. Here is the difference, line by line.

The questionRented: Kajabi, GoHighLevel & co.Owned: built by Atlas
Who sets the price
The platform. The bill arrives every month for as long as the business runs, and plans change when the platform decides.
You pay once for the build. After that, the running costs are hosting and video hosting, billed to you directly.
Who decides what's possible
Their roadmap. If a feature isn't on the menu, your business bends around the gap or bolts on another tool.
You do. A new pathway, a certification, a new kind of membership: if the business needs it, we build it.
What your students see
Your material inside the platform's course player, layout and login screens.
One experience in your brand, from the sales page to the last lesson, on your own domain.
Where your data lives
On their servers, in their system. Contacts export as a spreadsheet; the rest of the machine stays behind.
In your own database and your own Stripe account: students, progress, reflections and purchases.
If you walk away
Cancel, and the site, the course player, student logins and your automations stop with the subscription.
Stop working with Atlas and everything keeps running. The build, the content and the data stay yours.
Who search credits
You get whatever search controls the page builder offers, and every link you earn points at a home you rent.
Your domain earns the authority, and every idea you teach can have its own permanent page with your name on it.

Owned is a one-time build, plus hosting, video hosting and an optional concierge if you want Atlas running it for you.

Listed monthly prices on kajabi.com/pricing and gohighlevel.com/pricing, checked 3 October 2026. Annual billing is cheaper. Not included: future price changes, add-ons, card fees, and HighLevel's usage charges for SMS, email, phone and AI.

// Sovereign systems

What owning actually means.

A sovereign system is a business that runs on infrastructure you control. Five things make it real, and one is worth saying plainly.

01

Your domain, your hosting

The site, the course and the member area live on your domain and a hosting account in your name. Nobody else holds the switch.

02

Your Stripe, your customers

Checkout runs through your own Stripe account, on your own pages. Payments land with you, and the customer relationship stays with you.

03

Full customization, any time

A new pathway, certification, membership tier, or a way for people to find your practitioners. If the business needs it, we build it, and the system grows as the company does.

04

Your data, in your database

Students, progress, reflections and purchases sit in a database you own. Nothing is locked inside someone else's product.

05

Built to be found

Every page is coded so search engines and AI answer engines know who you are, what you teach and that you said it first.

06 · Plainly

What owning costs

You pay once for the build, and hosting and video hosting are billed to you directly. A custom build has no drag-and-drop editor, so changes run through Atlas's monthly concierge or a developer you choose. Stop the concierge any time and everything you own keeps running.

// Case study · Natasha Nazerali

Her own school, on her own site.

Natasha Nazerali is a biological guide and GNM practitioner. Her five-week live course, The Orders of Love, needed a home. Instead of renting a course platform, she had Atlas build one into the website we'd already made her.

5weekly modules, each opening the day after its live call
5live calls, each returned as a replay

Students pay in full or in two payments through Natasha's own Stripe account, without leaving her website.

The cohort moves together

Each module opens the day after its live call, so the whole group is always on the same week.

A private reflections journal

Her reflection questions sit under every module, and students can download everything they've written as a keepsake PDF.

Ask Natasha

A question box under every module. Questions land in her admin, grouped by module, ready for the live call.

One-tap replays

She pastes a call's replay link and the whole cohort gets an email with it.

Hers to run, and to reuse

Her admin holds students, questions and emails. The platform carries this cohort and every course she runs after it.

The platform was a one-time build, and it's hers. Her only monthly cost with Atlas is her concierge, which covers her whole website and the course, and it didn't change when the course was added. Hosting and video hosting she pays for directly.

“Truly, one of the best investments I made for my brand.”

Seen by search. Quoted by AI.

Discovery is fragmenting. People still search Google, and more of them now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI answers. Atlas builds for both, starting with this page.

  1. A permanent page for every ideaEach method, framework and term you teach gets its own page on your domain, with your name, credentials and date, so there's one clear original to cite.
  2. Structured data underneathPages are marked up so search engines and AI know you're the author, and how your podcast, videos, articles and courses connect.
  3. Your terms, definedLanguage you coined gets a definition page, so when someone looks it up, your page is the source.
  4. Your back catalog, put to workYears of videos, podcasts and masterclasses can be transcribed and turned into searchable answers in your own words.
  5. Fast, self-hosted, readableNo page-builder bloat. Fonts and scripts served from your own domain, and an llms.txt file that tells AI crawlers what you do.

// Questions

Straight answers.

Is Atlas a Kajabi alternative?

Yes, for creators and educators who want to own their platform rather than rent it. Atlas builds the course platform, membership and website as one custom system on your own domain, hosting and Stripe account.

It's a build rather than a subscription, so it starts with a conversation and a proposal instead of a free trial. The Kajabi guide goes through the comparison in full.

Can I move my Kajabi course to my own platform?

Yes, and we do the moving. Your contacts and videos come with you, and we rebuild the course experience, pages and automations in a system you own. Your part is one call and one review.

What happens to students who are partway through a course?

We plan the move around them. Current students get their access on your new platform before anything on the old one is switched off.

I use GoHighLevel for funnels and texting. Can you move all of it?

Yes. We rebuild your pages, offers and follow-ups in your new system and move your contacts and tags across, so reminders keep running from day one. Your part is one call and one review. The GoHighLevel guide covers the rest.

Do I need to be technical to run it?

No. You get admin screens designed around the handful of things you actually do: add a student, answer a question, send a replay, update an offer. If you'd rather not touch it at all, Atlas can run it for you.

What does owning cost compared with a subscription?

A one-time build, quoted per project, plus hosting and video hosting billed to you directly. If you want Atlas running it for you, there's a monthly concierge on top.

Whether owning beats renting depends on how long you plan to run the business. The rent meter shows the subscription side of that sum.

Will my site show up in Google and in AI answers?

We build every page for it: structured data, fast self-hosted pages, permanent answer pages for your ideas, and an llms.txt file. Nobody can guarantee rankings, and anyone who promises them is guessing. What we can do is make your site the clearest original source in your field.
