Atlas/Work/Here for the Truth
// Case study · Podcast + community

Five years of podcast, rebuilt to be found.

Here for the Truth is the podcast and community Joel Rafidi co-founded with Yerasimos Stilianessis in 2021. It is also where Atlas proves its work first. In May 2026 Atlas moved it off a Divi WordPress site onto a hand-built platform, then moved its membership, checkout and courses onto systems it owns.

// Where it started

A big catalog, on rented ground.

Nearly 300 episodes lived on a page-builder site, with the membership and checkout on rented tools around it. The goal was one platform HFTT owns, built so every conversation can be found.

01

A page-builder site

Divi on WordPress, with a page builder and a stack of plugins between every change and the live site.

02

Rented tools around it

The membership ran on Xperiencify and member checkout on ThriveCart, each with its own login, bill and limits.

03

A catalog that keeps growing

Nearly 300 episodes and a new one every week, each needing to be found by people who had never heard of the show.

04

Search and AI moving fast

More people now ask ChatGPT and Google's AI answers. A podcast only gets cited if its conversations exist as words on a page.

// What Atlas built

One platform, owned end to end.

A hand-built site

Clean PHP on hosting in HFTT's name. Fast on a phone, where about 70% of visitors arrive, with a light and a dark mode.

Search that understands people

Type a feeling, a topic or a name and the right conversations come up, across all 317 episodes.

Episodes that can be read

Every episode carries its core themes, quotes and full transcript, written into the page so Google and AI tools can read it.

Answers marked up for AI

Each episode's themes are also published as FAQ structured data: over 2,500 questions and answers across the catalog.

Membership on its own platform

Friends of the Truth moved off Xperiencify in June 2026 onto a members area on hereforthetruth.com.

Checkout on its own Stripe

In September 2026 around 40 member subscriptions moved from ThriveCart to native Stripe, with none lost.

+30%Google impressions
+11%clicks from Google
+64%visits referred by ChatGPT

Four weeks after the search work compared with the four weeks before it (16 Jul to 12 Aug and 5 Sep to 2 Oct 2026), from Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Early numbers on a long game: AI citations typically move over 6 to 12 weeks.

The same codebase now powers two courses built on top of the site: Rise Above the Herd, the flagship program, and the 7-Day Self-Esteem Reset, the free course that leads into it.

// Questions

Here for the Truth, answered.

How long did it take to move Here for the Truth off WordPress?

The rebuild started on 20 May 2026 and the new site replaced the WordPress site in production on 28 May 2026, with every episode page carried across.

Can a podcast website rank on Google?

Yes, when each episode is a real page with words on it. Here for the Truth gives every episode its own page with themes, quotes and a full transcript, plus topic and guest pages that connect them. Google impressions rose 30% in the four weeks after that work, compared with the four weeks before.

How do you get a podcast mentioned by ChatGPT?

Give AI tools something to read and quote: full transcripts on the page, clear summaries, and structured data that says who said what. Visits to Here for the Truth referred by ChatGPT rose 64% in the four weeks after that work, compared with the four weeks before.

Does Atlas build podcast websites?

Yes. Atlas builds podcast sites with a page for every episode and guest, search across the whole catalog, and membership, courses and checkout on the same platform, on your own domain and Stripe.
